Comfort Food
Hello foodies: I had the very lovely pleasure of experiencing the flu last week and I had to find ways to get better, that complemented the theraflu’s and the Sudafed’s and loads of rest. Soup, Soups and more Soups. It’s flu season and even in Hot ol Florida it’s a lovely 46 degrees today. So here are my flu remedies. Soup up, eat loads of protein, Vitamin C/fresh squeezed orange juice, warm water with honey and lemon often and STAY AWAY from the ice creams and cold drinks. Give your immune system a boost. Happy Knock down that FLU SEASON. Recipes for these in my first cook book coming this spring.! Happy marvelous Monday

BROIL instead
Happy Mid-week foodies. So let’s talk healthy eating habits. There is something undeniably tasty about fried meat, but can I suggest an alternative? BROILING. I know! :), who would have thought. Instead of frying your chicken and meat, try broiling it in the oven. I testily it’s just like frying even healthier. Been broiling for 5 years now. The chicken here was cooked for 10 minutes then broiled at 400 degrees for 10-15 minutes.

Food Photo Junkie
Oh my I am starting to take a picture of just about every meal in sight. Somewhat exhausting, because I keep thinking “I am so not a photographer. I have no clue what I am doing”. I am pretty critical of my own work, so chances are if I like it, it’s gonna work for most foodies.
Some of these recipes you would have to wait until the cookbook comes out.
